THANK YOU!

To all the families who came along to the Family Move Night to see Roald Dahl’s spectacular book the BFG brought to life on the big blow up screen, a very big thank you!

Over 125 kids and adults snuggled into their bean bags and spent a relaxing couple of hours enchanted by the Big Friendly Giant and the tiny Sophie.
They oohed at the giants.  They aahed at the dreams.  They giggled at the Queen and her corgies Whizzpopping around the castle!

The hot baked potato dinner was a huge hit with a massive 100 serves with all the toppings sold to hungry families.  Frobscottle was guzzled by the gallon and popcorn was chomped by the boxful and lollies were gobbled by the handful and fun was had by all.

Congratulations to our door prize winners Rosie Woods who won the major prize, Josiah Braendler and Naomi Hampton who won the minor prizes.

Thank you to all the families who participated.
Thank you to all the teachers who came by to say Hi.
Thank you to Mrs Taylor and Mrs Downing and Mrs Francis for all their fantastic help.
Thank you to the P&F committee for trying something new and creating a wonderful family friendly event.

“I has told you five or six times,’ he said, ‘and the third will be the last.” The BFG

Family Movie Night

“The matter with Human Beans”, the BFG went on, “is that they is absolutely refusing to believe in anything unless they is actually seeing it right in front of their own schnozzles”.

Bring along your Beans, big and small, suspend belief and see what is right in front of your schnozzle on the big blow up movie screen at the P&F’s Family Movie Night.

Invite your family, friends and neighbours to watch the enchanting movie based on Roald Dahl’s spellbinding book, The BFG.

This is the major event for the P&F in 2017 and all funds go towards the creation of the Sensory Garden. We hope you can all come along and support this fundraising effort…while enjoying some GIANT family fun time with your school community.

Bring your bean bags, deck chairs or blankets and claim a space on the heated floor in Bukatilla. Tickets are only $10 each or $40 for a family ticket (2 adults and up to 4 kids), children under 5 years are free. Tickets can be purchased via Trybooking at www.trybooking.com/book/event?eid=290024

We won’t be serving any snozzcumbers, so work up a GIANT appetite and enjoy a hot baked potato with all the toppings from 5.30pm with the movie starting on the big screen at 6.30pm. All your favourite movie treats will be available popcorn, lollies and icecreams…or be adventurous and try a glass of sweet and jumbly FROBSCOTTLE…but beware…whizzpopping is NOT permitted.

Hot Food Day

Did you know, the origins of the meat pie can be traced back to the Neolithic Period, around 9500 BC.

Thankfully, yesterday’s meat pies weren’t made in 9500BC, but rather the day before by the fabulous McCues Bakery.  And what better day to have a steaming hot pie, pastie or sausage roll than the chilly last day of Autumn.  Over 200 lunches were delivered to hungry little kids by our fabulous P&F committee members.  Thank you to all the parents who filled in the forms and sent in the money, thanks to all the kids who ate the hot food and sipped on their flavoured milks.

Your support of this hot food day, also added another $430 to the fundraising pot toward the Sensory Garden.  Check out the photo’s below to see if your little one was captured with a pie face!
