SPORTS DAY IS NEARLY HERE

We hope everyone is excited and looking forward to sports day this Friday. The weather is set to be a lovely warm day.

The sports tops that have been ordered are ready for pick up from today (10th March) from the front office.

There are also some second hand and some new sports day t-shirts available in the front office and some bandannas in team colours – first in best dressed!

Following sports day, the P & F will be holding a sausage sizzle for an easy dinner option, after what is sure to be a big day!

Hi All,

The P & F would like to thank all families for their support in fundraising over 2020. The year was an unusual one, with many restrictions being placed following COVID. Despite this, and with the support of the senior school and teachers, we still managed to hold some of our favourite events for the year. Through the Mother’s and Father’s Day stalls, Christmas Stall, Art Fundraiser, Umbrella Fundraiser and Donut Days we managed to raise over $7,500 for the school. This year, the money has gone towards the Giant Games and the new line markings/games around the playground. Thank you again for supporting your school through these events.

Thank you to those new P & F support squad members who nominated to assist the P & F this year along with those who joined us for our meeting on Monday night. We look forward to working with you all in the coming year. If anyone else would still like to volunteer, please let us know: we welcome any time and support you can provide!

We will continue to hold the second-hand uniform sales as the year progresses, and you are also welcome to pop into the school office to see what is available at any time during the year. If you have any uniforms or sports day tops that no longer fit your children and you would like to donate them, please feel free to drop these into the office anytime.

Hi All,

If you are interested in supporting the school through volunteering at events throughout the year, come along to the P&F AGM on Monday 15th Feb at 7pm in the school staff room to find out more!

By joining the friendly P&F team you can be involved in organising and planning these events. If you are time poor, then we have the P&F support squad you can be involved in. Forms were sent home with students however you can also let any P&F committee members know if you are available (all volunteer checks will need to be completed through the school office.

A quick reminder that the sports shirts order forms are due back tomorrow if you wish to order one.

A big welcome back to everyone for 2021.

Don’t forget, this Friday (5th February), is the BACK TO SCHOOL BASH! Please join us as we celebrate the start of a new school year.

Even if the weather doesn’t hold up, we will be going ahead as planned and moving the party to Bukutilla!!

This Friday is the inaugural P & F Christmas Stall.

Parents are encouraged to come along from 3:00pm with their children and find some special gifts for Christmas. The event has been designed to comply with COVID regulations so sign in will be required and one-way traffic will be directed on the day.

Children will also have the opportunity to shop at the stall during the day on Friday afternoon, if their parents are not able to attend with them after school.

The P & F have also been baking up a storm of snacks and Christmas treats (Jellies, ice blocks, drinks, baked goods etc) which will be available for purchase while enjoying your shopping.

The orders for the Christmas Wine Fundraiser also close tomorrow at 10am. Wines will be labelled with a specially designed St Michael’s Christmas label.

There has been an online glitch noting the Shiraz was out of stock however this was an error and there is no longer a limit on the Shiraz. If you missed out or would still like to order jump online to get your orders through as soon as possible.

 We are so excited to be bringing you a Christmas stall this year! Please see the email from the school for the gift guide for some of the amazing items on offer! We will also have food and drinks available for purchase; your kids can eat while you shop!

Secondhand Uniform Sale this Thursday 15th October after school (from 3pm) & Friday 16th October before school (from 8.30am) in the hub

Now that the weather is warming up and we’ve changed over to Summer uniform, do you need a couple of extra pieces to get your child through to the end of the year?

Once again the P&F are pleased to hold this sale to help our families access affordable secondhand options, while also raising funds for our school.

Don’t forget we are now selling school scrunchies: $3 each or 2 for $5. We also have fabric available for free that can be used to patch knees if you’re handy with a sewing machine!

We realise this is short notice, however if you are unable to visit this week, please remember you can pop into the school office anytime and see what uniforms we have available in various sizes. We are always grateful for any donations of uniforms, including sports day t-shirts.
